About the Aliah University

Aliah University is an autonomous University, under the department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Government of West Bengal. This university has 243+ years old historical roots, i.e. of erstwhile Calcutta Mohammedan College/ Calcutta Madrasah which was established in 1780. It was elevated to University in 2008. Aliah University has 3 different campuses in Kolkata. (a) 21 Haji Mohammad Mohsin Square, Taltala, Heritage Campus; Kolkata-700016 (b) 17 Gorachand Road, Park Circus Campus, Kolkata-700014 and c) Action Area-IIA/27, Newtown, Kolkata-700160. This University plays a crucial and leading role in the advancement of higher education for any race, creed, caste or class including socially and educationally backward classes belonging to the Minorities.

Department of Education, which is situated at Park Circus Campus, 17 Gorachand Road, 9th floor, Kolkata-700014, West Bengal, which offers 2 years B.Ed., 2 Years M.Α in Education and Ph.D. in Education which has vision and mission to produce world class teachers for both Qualitative and Quantitative expansion of Education.

About the Journal of Educare

The Journal of Educare (JoE) was launched in 2024 by the Department of Education, Aliah University, Park Circus Campus, 17 Gorachand Road, Kolkata-700014, West Bengal, India. This journal aims to disseminate information about theory, practice, and research in the field of education and its allied subjects. JoE is dedicated to advancing research and innovations in diverse fields within Educational Philosophy, Educational Psychology, Educational Sociology, Educational Technology, Inclusive Education, Open and Distance Learning, Value and Peace Education, Teacher Education, Women Education, Pedagogy of School Subjects, and Assessment and Evaluation, among others. JoE offers an online presence, enhancing accessibility for both readers and authors globally.

JoE is committed to embracing technological advancements, ensuring that the latest research is easily accessible online. This digital availability broadens the journal’s reach, allowing it to engage with a global audience of scholars and researchers. JoE is a peer-reviewed, contributed, biannual journal.
